Czesław Miłosz
June 30, 1911 – August 14, 2004
Czesław Miłosz was a Lithuanian born Polish poet, prose writer and translator. From 1961 to 1998 he was a professor of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of California, Berkeley.
