Terms of service

Last updated June 2026

These terms govern your use of fraeon. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. This is a starting template and should be reviewed by your own legal counsel before launch.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information, don't impersonate others, and don't share your account in ways that violate these terms. You must meet the minimum age requirement described in our Privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Use fraeon lawfully and follow our Community guidelines. Don't abuse, harass or harm others; don't post illegal content; don't spam, scrape, overload or attempt to break the service; and don't circumvent moderation or security. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

Your content

You keep ownership of the reviews, lists and other content you create. By posting it, you grant fraeon a licence to host, display and distribute it within the service so that it works as intended (for example, showing your public reviews on a title's page). You're responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.

Third-party data

Catalog metadata and images are provided by third parties including TMDB, RAWG, Jikan and Open Library, and remain subject to their terms. fraeon uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. We don't guarantee the accuracy of third-party data.

Service “as is”

fraeon is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You can stop using fraeon and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or the community guidelines, as described in those guidelines.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will note the date above; continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions? Email us.
