Lisa Adkins (Australia, 1966) es una socióloga y académica especializada en sociología económica y teoría feminista. Ha sido profesora en diversas universidades, entre ellas la Universidad de Mánchester, Goldsmiths de la Universidad de Londres y la Universidad de Sídney, donde también desempeñó el cargo de decana de la Facultad de Artes y Ciencias Sociales. Su investigación se ha centrado en las transformaciones del Estado del bienestar, los mercados laborales y el impacto del capitalismo financiero en las sociedades contemporáneas.
