1981

Adam Makos (born 1981) is an American writer, editor, historian and publisher. Makos specializes in war novels and biographies appearing on the New York Times Best Seller list twice for his works *Spearhead* and *A Higher Call*. While in high school Makos was one of the founding members of Valor a magazine depicting veterans stories ranging from World War I to Iraq War. Makos has published two NY Times Best Sellers; *Spearhead* and *A Higher Call* as well as *Voices of the Pacific* which follows marines and seamen who served in the Pacific during World War II.[6] In 2018 it was announced Makos' third novel *Devotion* would be turned into a film. The release date has yet to be announced. …

Larry Alexander

1951

Larry Alexander (born in 1951) is an American journalist and military historian who has written a number of books about World War II, most notably about Easy Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army.
