*Equations*, by American writer Adam Fieled, is a voyage in prose fiction into expressed sexuality and human relationships, in dialectic form. It was originally released in print by Blue & Yellow Dog Press in 2011; the second print edition, also from Blue & Yellow Dog Press, appeared in 2018. In 2021-23, nine Equations were added to the thesis portion of the book, and the 2023 edition placed in its entirety on PennSound.

American writer Adam Fieled was born in New York City in 1976 but raised in the Philadelphia suburb Cheltenham. He attended Penn State University in the Nineties, but eventually graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in the Aughts. His first print books, *Posit* (2 editions) and *Opera Bufa*, appeared in 2007, and were followed by *When You Bit...*, *Chimes*, *Apparition Poems*, *Equations* (3 editions), and *Cheltenham*, as well as numerous e-books and chapbooks, like *Beams*, *The White Album* (2 editions), *The Posit Trilogy*, and *The Great Recession*. *The Philly Free School* were a multi-media artists co-op active out of Philadelphia in the Aughts, founded by Adam Fieled, Mike Land, Jeremy Eric Tenenbaum, and Nick Gruberg. Many of their multi-media performances were held at the **Highwire Gallery**, between Broad and 13th on Cherry Street in Center City Philadelphia. **Poetry Incarnation '05** was held at the Khyber Pass in Olde City on July 5, 2005. By metonymic connection, many Aughts Philadelphia artists associated with Neo-Romanticism also fall under the aegis of the Philly Free School. The literary journal [P.F.S.
