About this book

Raina is about to start sixth grade and all she wants to be is a normal girl. One night, however, after a scouts' meeting, she trips, falls, and seriously injures her two front teeth. She must then endure a whole series of dental operations and apparatuses, even a retainer with fake teeth! On top of that, she also has to deal with an earthquake, boy trouble, and friends who turn out to be not what they seem. Raina va a sexto y su único deseo es ser una chica normal. Empieza entonces un largo y frustante periplo entre aparatos de quita y pon, operaciones, un bochornoso arco facial y hasta un paladar con dientes postizos. Encima tener que lidiar con otras cosas: un terremoto de primera magnitude, el lio de los chicos, unas amigas que resultan no serlo tanto. La historia nos conduce desde el colegio hasta el instituto, donde Raina descubre su voz artística, averigua qué es la auténtica Amistad y puede finalmente...sonreí.

I love this author she is one of the authors who inspired me to make my own book.Her stories always make my day,Thank you Ms.Telgemeier Raina Telgemeier , Mostly known for her New york times Bestsellers , "Smile" and "Sisters" , is a famous comic book writer. Raina loves to draw , which is why the comics she writes are hand drawn by herself!!. She has two siblings mentioned in "Guts" and "Sisters" Called Amara Telgemeier and Will Telgemeier.Raina used to draw Comic strips when she was younger.Her Occupation is Actually Cartoonist not writer.She has illustrated The Baby-sitters club novel.Raina was a big fan of BSC(Baby-sitters club) when she was younger so this must've been a childhood …
