Elizabeth Daly

Elizabeth Daly is an Australian educator. She was been a teacher and Principal at a number of primary schools in Tasmania, before working for the Australian Department of Education. In 2006, she retired from her position as Director of Education. In 2008, she was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in 2008 for "services to education in Tasmania, particularly in the areas of early childhood education, language development and policy implementation, and to the community". She is currently Chair of the Tasmanian Early Years Foundation.
