For over three decades, D. Travers Scott has worked as a writer, critic, and artist, appearing everywhere from underground 'zines and academic journals to Harper's and This American Life. He and his husband live in South Carolina, where he is Associate Professor of Communication at Clemson University. His most recent book is Pathology & Technology: Killer Apps and Sick Users, an exploration of the history of technology and disease.
