In one form or another, Heidi Betts has been a storyteller for most of her life—whether entertaining her friends, working to improve her grades or attempting to get out of trouble. So it's no surprise, really, that she grew up to be a writer. She began her love affair with the romance genre in junior high, where she used to sneak romance novels into study hall when she should have been doing her homework, and it didn't take long for her to decide that she wanted to write a few romances of her own.
