Larry Chambers

1947

Larry Chambers, born in Santa Paula, California, holds Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees from the University of Utah and graduated as a Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society member. Chambers has studied psychology, mythology, linguistics, investments at the New York Institute of Finance. He also has a degree in Sociology and has studied Creative Writing at the Iowa’s Writers Conference and Screenwriting at UCLA. Chambers went to Vietnam in 1968 and did two tours. He is the recipient of numerous combat medals and his first book, *Recondo – LRRPs in the 101st Airborne*, is one of a collection of books made mandatory reading for U.S. Army Rangers.
