Zbigniew Janowski is the author of Cartesian Theodicy: Descartes' Quest for Certitude, Index Augustino-Cartésien. Textes et Commentaire, Agamemnon’s Tomb: Polish Oresteia (with Catherine O’Neil). Zbigniew Jankowski was born in Bydgoszcz, in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. He made his debut as a poet in 1956.
