William Haden Blackman is a writer who has long worked in the Star Wars universe. He was also the project lead on the MMO Star Wars Galaxies and the video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. He resigned from his position at LucasArts on July 29, 2010. On December 4, 2014, he founded his own studio Hangar 13, as a division of 2K Games.

Alexander Marsh Freed was the writer for Star Wars: The Old Republic, Blood of the Empire and Star Wars: The Old Republic—The Lost Suns. He wrote for the Imperial Agent storyline. Freed had written Star Wars: Purge: The Tyrant's Fist by August 23, 2012, when it was announced at Celebration VI. He participated in the Star Wars Reads event. He was a staff writer at BioWare for six years before departing of his own volition in October 2012 to pursue a freelance career.
