John Ostrander (born April 20, 1949) is an American writer of comic books, including Suicide Squad, Grimjack and Star Wars: Legacy. He co-created the Oracle persona for Barbara Gordon and created the second and modern version of the antihero/supervillain team the Suicide Squad, of which the films Suicide Squad and The Suicide Squad are based on. William Haden Blackman is a writer who has long worked in the Star Wars universe. He was also the project lead on the MMO Star Wars Galaxies and the video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. He resigned from his position at LucasArts on July 29, 2010. On December 4, 2014, he founded his own studio Hangar 13, as a division of 2K Games.
