Margaret Wander Bonanno (February 7, 1950 in New York City – April 8, 2021) was an American science fiction writer, ghost writer and small press publisher. She was born in New York City. She wrote seven Star Trek novels, several science fiction novels set in her own worlds, including The Others, a collaborative novel with Nichelle Nichols, a biography, and other works. Her novel Preternatural was a New York Times Notable Book for 1997. Preternatural 3, a sequel, was a New York Times Notable Book for 2002. She lived in the Los Angeles area.

Christopher L. Bennett is an American science fiction author. He has written several tie-in novels and short stories in the Star Trek and Marvel Comics franchises starting in 2003, as well as his first original novel in 2012 and several original stories for Analog Science Fiction and Fact and other magazines. He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
