The series covers classic wine-producing regions wordwide and profiles the top producers. This guide discusses the wines of Burgundy, focusing on the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, including all the great communes (Puligny and Chassagne Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, Corton, Nuits St. Georges, Clos Vougeot, Chambolle Musigny, Morey St. Denis, Gevrey Chambertin, and others). The guide is divided into two parts. The first part of the guide discusses the regions, and explains the character and range of the wines. The second part profiles the producers, showing how each winemaker interprets the local character. Profiles include more than 180 producers.
