Aldren Auld Watson

1917 – 2013

Aldren Auld Watson (1917-2013) was an artist. He studied at the Art Students League and was the recipient of many awards and prizes. He was well-known as a designer and illustrator of about 125 books and as the author and illustrator of *My Garden Grows* (Viking, 1962), a children's picture book. He was co-author, with his father, Ernest W. Watson, of *The Watson Drawing Book* (Reinhold, 1962).
