'Fruit Gathering" are verses of mystical poetry, about the understanding and wisdom of life that the disciple gathers in his journey in search of his Master. Tagore (1861-1941) was an Indian poet, writer, artist, playwright who profoundly changed and influenced Indian literature. He received the Nobel prize in literature in 1913. Bengali polymath who reshaped his region's literature and music. Author of "Gitanjali" and its "profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse" (The Nobel Foundation), he became the first non-European Nobel laureate by earning the 1913 Prize in Literature.
