Stefan Petrucha is an American writer of comics and young adult fiction. He has written graphic novels in the X-Files and Nancy Drew series, as well as science fiction and horror. From 1994 to 2007, Stefan wrote stories for Disney comic books published by Egmont. Stefan has been a tech writer, an educational writer, a public relations writer and an editor for trade journals. He is also a teacher of comics, and teaches three online courses on writing for comics and other skills through the University of Massachusetts. Michael T. Gilbert attended the State University of New York. He graduated from SUNY at New Paltz in 1973, and published his first comic stories that same year in his self-published New Paltz Comix. He began drawing for several Star Reach and Kitchen Sink titles. He produced a mix of underground comix (Slow Death, Bizarre Sex, American Splendor by Harvey Pekar) and ground-level comics such as Star*Reach and Quack!.
