About this book

"Cory blinked, and blinked again. His hands! But those were not hands, those were paws - with claws and a coarse brown fur covering them! And his body - he was no longer standing on two feet; he was squatting back on rounded haunches, his hind feet big paws with webs between the toes. Over all his body was thick fur. Frightened, he turned to look behind him. There was a broad, flat tail lying in the dust behind, balancing him as he stood, or rather crouched, before the fire. It had no fur, but was scaled instead. What had happened to him, and to the world he had known?" When he began his summer of adventure on a Western rancn in Idaho, Cory Alder stepped into a world far beyond his wildest expectations. He was already in a strange, unfamiliar land - a land of high heeled boots and cowboy hats, of horses and rifles - and Indians. Stumbling into a desert cave, he is plunged into a world more mysterious and frightening than he has ever known—a world of mythical, furry animals in which he is himself transformed into the creature 'Yellow Shell.' Will he unravel the mystery of this powerful Indian magic? Will he find a path back to the world he once knew, back to Uncle Jasper and the ranch. . . . back to the Cory he once was? In Fur Magic Andre Norton has woven a breathtaking tale of courage, mystery, and magic - Alicia Austin has captured the fantasy in ten extraordinary full-color and forty black & white illustrations and spots. Together, Norton and Austin blaze with the power of Indian magic! Theirs is a story to share . . . and share again.

20th Century Boys

Humanity, having faced extinction at the end of the 20th century, would not have entered the new millennium if it weren't for them. In 1969, during their youth, they created a symbol. In 1997, as the coming disaster slowly starts to unfold, that symbol returns. This is the story of a group of boys who try to save the world. For Kenji, a simple convenience store manager who once dreamed of becoming a rock 'n' roll musician, a host of memories from his past come rushing back when one of his childhood friends mysteriously commits suicide. Could this new death be related to the rise of a bizarre new cult that's been implicated in several other murders and disappearances? Determined to dig deeper, Kenji reunites with some of his old buddies in the hope of learning the truth behind it all. (Source: VIZ Media)

Lord of Mysteries Specials

Special episodes of Lord of Mysteries, taking place in season 1. Covering important scenes skipped after the end credits in Episode 10, as included: City of Silver (Episode 1): Above the undying gray fog, Klein Moretti, the enigmatic The Fool, presided over the Tarot Club when a new, distant prayer echoed through the mists. Reaching across the veil, he summoned Derrick Berg from the City of Silver—a cursed bastion trapped within the Forsaken Land of God. Through Derrick’s haunting tales, the grim history of this sunless city was unveiled. Seeking salvation for his people, Derrick pledged his soul to The Fool’s grace. From the twenty-two Major Arcana, he chose his mantle: "The Sun." The Marked Hunt (Episodes 2 and 3): The gathering then turned to matters of blood and ambition. "The Hanged Man," Alger Wilson, proposed a high-stakes exchange. He sought the head of Qilangos, one of the infamous seven Pirate Admirals, and tasked "Justice," Audrey Hall, with leveraging her noble influence in Backlund to hunt the wind-blessed killer. In the foggy streets of the Loen capital, Audrey’s quest led her to the Beyonder duo, Fors Wall and Xio Derecha. As the web tightened around the Admiral, Klein sought the intervention of his mentor, the mysterious Mr. Azik. By weaving together the threads of divinity, ancient power, and mortal cunning, The Fool ensured the Tarot Club’s first great triumph: the fall of Qilangos. (Source: Crunchyroll)
