About this book

Adam, his best friend the red pup, and his family live in a cabin in the Wyoming territory. When Adam's stepfather leaves for a long trip to Cheyenne, three cutthroat gold prospectors crash into the cabin and hold the family at gunpoint. Adam escapes, and the men let the red pup loose. Unfortunately, the one thing that dog does best is track Adam, so he must find a way to outwit them and save his family.
