Synopsis

Hachiro Kurogane, a high school graduate catcher, joined the Carbons, a very weak baseball team, as the 8th overall pick in the draft. When he was asked about his goal at the team's press conference, he declared, "I will win the championship in my first year and win the MVP. He caused a stir! That was the "marriage condition" given to Hachiro by his childhood friend, Suzu Domon, whom he had fallen in love with. Hachiro's tremendous challenge has begun as he aims to make the starting lineup for the season opener!
