Uttej (ఉత్తేజ్) is a Tollywood actor.His uncle Suddala Ashok Teja is a popular lyricist of Telugu cinema. He was introduced by Ram Gopal Varma with Shiva in 1989. He was one of the natural actors in Tollywood. His mentor Krishna Vamsi gave him life on the Silver Screen though introduced by Ram Gopal Varma. He received Nandi Award for Chandamama as a comedian. He acted along with many lead actors. He also worked as assistant director to Krishna Vamsi for the film 'Gulabi'.
