Ikko Furuya

Born in Tokyo. After graduating from Tokyo Metropolitan Itabashi High School , he graduated from the Faculty of Law, Chuo University. While in college, he started his acting life after completing the 16th generation of Haiyuza Training School. Since 1977, he has consistently played the role of Kosuke Kindaichi , the main character in the "Seiji Yokomizo Series /Detective Kosuke Kindaichi Series"; for 25 years from 1982 to 2007, he played the role of Sakon Taro, the main character of the "Mixed bathing open- air bath serial murder " series in "Saturday Wide Theater", and became a hit again.
