Part of the famous Unser racing family, Al Jr. began racing at an early age and quickly demonstrated his talent in open-wheel racing. Nicknamed "Little Al" to distinguish him from his father, Al Unser Sr., Al Jr. made his IndyCar debut in 1982 and went on to enjoy a highly successful career.
