Luis Fernando Midence is an independent writer, director, and producer from Guatemala. He is the founder of the production company GuatGuy Media, a platform dedicated to exploring identity, visual storytelling, and Central American LGBTQ+ cinema. Midence is known for directing the landmark short film "Sin ruta" (2012), recognized as the first Guatemalan film to feature an openly queer character.
