Arthur Hammond was a British-born Canadian documentary filmmaker, writer, and executive who spent more than two decades at the National Film Board of Canada (NFB). After immigrating to Canada in the mid-1950s, he transitioned from publishing to film, joining the NFB in Montreal during the 1960s. As a director and producer, Hammond specialized in social, corporate, and political documentaries.
