Igor Ivanov Izi

Igor Ivanov Izi is a film director and writer, born 1973 in Skopje, Macedonia. He started his professional career in 1993, directing TV series. From 1995 to 2004 he made several short films and documentaries presented and awarded at festivals worldwide. His short "Bubachki" was in competition of the 54th Berlinale and won a Golden Leopard at Locarno Film Festival. In 2007 his first feature film Upside Down was presented at Karlovy Vary film festival and won the Best Director prize at Mostra De Valencia Film Festival.
