Miao Yue

Miao Yue (苗月) is a Chinese director and writer. In 1978, Miao studied in Guiyang Normal University (now Guizhou Normal University), majoring in Chinese Language and Literature. She started writing novels while studying at university. In the 1980s, she published Call of the Heart (心的召唤), Between Men (男人之间) and ABC in Summer (夏天里的ABC) in magazines such as Huaxi (花溪), People's Literature (人民文学) and Modern Writers (现代作家).
