Composer. Honored Art Worker of Russia (2000). Conductor of the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre, artistic director and conductor of the Laureate of Music and Student Festivals of the Symphony Orchestra of the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov. He graduated from the Kaunas Secondary Special Music School (Lithuanian SSR) in the violin class, the Leningrad Conservatory with a degree in choral and opera-symphony conducting. In the 1960s - 1970s he worked as a pianist, violinist, flutist, arranger and leader of various ensembles, taught conducting at the Conservatory and the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov.
