Régis Outin

Régis Outin was born on June 4, 1908, in Montbrison, in the Loire region of France. Attracted to the performing arts from an early age, he trained in theater and embarked on a career that would take him to the stage and in front of the cameras. A versatile actor, he alternated between the great classics and contemporary plays, working with prestigious directors such as Jean-Louis Barrault and Roger Blin. In the theater, he performed Claudel, Ionesco, Shakespeare, and Giraudoux, establishing a style that was both solid and nuanced.
