Stephen Broekhuizen

Steve was born in Cork Ireland where he lives today. He is a graduate of USM in Maine. In 2015 set up Deep Red Productions with three of his friends. Steve has worked primarily as a producer but has also written and directed feature films and documentaries and a number of short films and music videos many of which have gone on to win awards around the world. His interest in film began really with his father when he would join him at sea (his father worked in the merchant navy and Steve spent many months growing up at sea) where to pass the time he would watch films and read.
