Actress, one of the most famous Soviet fashion models of the 1970s. As a student at the Shchukin School, she began working as a fashion model for the Moscow House of Models. In 1968, she demonstrated collections at the Moscow International Fashion Festival. After that, she was invited to shoot for Vogue magazine. Famous photographer Arnaud de Ronet arrived in the capital for filming. The photo shoot took place on Red Square itself with the permission of the government. But after the publication of these photographs, where Galina sat with her back to the portraits of party members and the Mausoleum itself, the model was banned from appearing in foreign magazines.
