Juan Pedro Soto is a Venezuelan filmmaker. His work explores themes of identity, memory, and belonging rooted in the cultural landscape of his homeland. His short Luna Azul (2021) was selected for The Venezuelan Film Festival and recognized by the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market. As a producer, his music video El cielo no es de nadie screened at Cinequest and Urbanworld Film Festival. His latest film, Poly (2025), shot on 16mm Kodak film, is currently on the international festival circuit.He is currently on the production of Sandclouds: A stop-motion short film developed in collaboration with artists that worked on Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio.
