Ekachai Uekrongtham

Ekachai Uekrongtham is a director of film and theatre, producer and screenwriter. He was recognized by Asia Week magazine as one of the 20 Asian leaders of the millennium in the arts, culture and society. Ekachai has directed films such as 'Beautiful Boxer', relased in 2003, which received two Suphannahong National Film Awards and 12 other international film festivals around the world. He is also a film director for 'Pleasure Factory' which was honored at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and has directed other films such as 'The Coffin' and The Wedding Game.
