Ray Bolger, one of showbusiness's most esteemed dancing comedians, stars in his own program, “Washington Square,” a series of 17 one-hour “live” color episodes. ‘Washington Square’ has a continued storyline, with the same main characters running throughout the series, Mr. Bacher explained, “somewhat like a theatrical Our Town.” Ray Bolger will be the entrepreneur of a theatrical community in which various colorful personalities live who aspire to success in show business.
