Leopoldo Enrique García-Alas y Ureña, conocido simplemente como Leopoldo Alas o Clarín (Zamora, 25 de abril de 1852-Oviedo, 13 de junio de 1901), fue un escritor y jurista español. Catedrático primero en la Universidad de Zaragoza y más tarde en la de Oviedo, se desempeñó como crítico literario en la prensa periódica de la época, desde donde atacó con punzantes artículos a muchos literatos contemporáneos.
